At JetWay, your safety is paramount and is the foundation of everything we do. We are led by a management team with more aviation experience than most of the larger programs and we employ safety standards that are the industry’s highest and have a safety record that is unblemished.

Your assigned crews, some of the most experienced in the industry, receive consistent recurrent training at Flight Safety International, the world’s leading aviation school, and your aircraft are equipped with state-of-the-art safety equipment. Also, before every one of your JetWay trips we produce a comprehensive ARGUS TripCHEQ Report or Wyvern PASS Report on your assigned crew members and tail number.

Your Aircraft & Crew

  • State-of-the-art radar on all aircraft
  • Safety equipment and avionics on all aircraft
  • All pilots are simulator trained and have extensive experience in order to protect your welfare and that of your family and guests.
  • All pilots and ground personnel have extensive background checks performed prior to hiring.
  • All aircraft and facilities have been approved by outside aviation consulting firms such as Wyvern and ARGUS.
  • An ARGUS TripCHEQ or Wyvern PASS is performed before each of your JetWay trips to ensure consistent, comprehensive and current safety oversight.
  • Part 135 of the FAA regulations contains some of the most stringent requirements of all FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) regulations including but not limited to:
    • Runway Length Regulations (FAA imposed minimums)
    • Weather Restrictions (FAA enforced limits)
    • Crew Rest and Duty Requirements – Pilots are limited to 14 hours duty time of which only 10 hours may be flight time.
    • Crew Training – All pilots must have a minimum of 2,500 flight hours experience prior to hiring.

 

COVD-19 Safety

  • Under JetWay’s strict COVID protocols:
    • All JetWay employees wear face coverings while greeting clients at the FBO.
    • All crew members wear face coverings while performing duties in the presence of JetWay clients at the FBO and on the aircraft, including greetings, safety briefings, and cabin service.
    • All crew members practice social distancing when possible, and limit their time at the FBO before and after trips.
    • The avoidance of handshakes between crew members and passengers is recommended.
    • JetWay recommends that all passengers bring their own face coverings and hand sanitizer for each trip
  • Aircraft Cleaning:
    • All aircraft go through a cleaning and disinfecting program in accordance with the guidelines of the CDC and WHO.
    • All cabin surfaces are cleaned and disinfected before and after every flight.
    • All-purpose disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer are provided for passenger use.

“A couple of decades ago when my role in venture capital and private equity had me working with companies all around the U.S., many of them in places not well served by commercial air service, I bought shares in a couple of light jets through two fractional ownership companies.

Once I learned the ropes of flying private, I smartened up. I stopped tying up big chunks of capital for heavy up-front payments, and got away from seemingly endless surcharges, blackout dates, and constantly rising maintenance fees. I found Chet Dudzik and his team at JetWay Private Air. With JetWay I enjoy the same—often better, more personalized—service, and more flexibility for a lower TCF—Total Cost per Flight.

Since retiring some years ago, I don’t fly private much, two or three times a year, and some years not at all, so I’m not much of a revenue generator for JetWay and its operators. No matter, though. There are lots of fly-private options in the market now: fractional ownership, bulk hour cards, shared flights, as hoc charters, and more. Many of them may be fine choices.
